It's our 10 Year Anniversary!
10 YEARS AGO this week, marks the 10th Anniversary of the incorporation of Flying Fur Animal Rescue, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to helping the helpless. I am proud to say that in that time, you have helped us save just under 4,000 animals.
I started this as one man with a passion - a mission to help animals in need; ALL OF YOU have helped make this dream a reality.
It seems as if 2014 was just yesterday, when I became a certificated pilot, and since have donated over $120,000 of my own money, and thousands of hours of blood sweat and tears to help save animals, by air and ground - all because of the pup you see here, my own Miss Tessa, who came into my life in 2013. She, by all rights, is the true founder of Flying Fur.
Together, we have reached large milestones, and in other ways just begun - the challenges are continually laid out before me, and my duty is clear - to figure out how to conquer them, and steer this organization into its future.
Most importantly, NONE of this would have been possible without YOU, and for that I can never thank you enough.
I will continue to live my creed - no one gets out of here alive, and you can't take it with you. All that matters is what you do on this earth while you are here, and that you try to leave it a better place then when you entered it.
I did not choose this path my friends, it was chosen for me - I am simply doing what I believe I was called upon to do while on this earth.
For that, I will never, ever stop helping the abused, neglected, forgotten, and discarded; this is my pledge to you, and to them.
